Music Goals that the Lord will help me with

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some music goals that God is helping me with. 

Let’s talk about it. 

The joke

So there is a music joke that goes around in the music community and the joke is that musicians do everything except put out new music. 

And it’s funny because in a real sense, it’s true. 

We really do act a fool when it comes to putting out new music. 

And even the big named artists out there will actually do the same. 

That’s the reason why you see a lot of artists who make one album and then not release anything for several years. 

Well in mainstream music, that could be because they are also touring and performing different shows. 

But all the more often, musicians just won’t release music. 

So, that’s the joke. 

Now there is something that musicians are often recommended to do. 

And the recommendation is that you pre promote your music before you release it. 

So like you will give sneak previews and you will talk about it on podcasts or blogs or you will promote it on your own website or social media handles. 

Whatever you want to do, you’re supposed to get the word out that you are going to release music. 

And that’s where it comes down to with God.

How does that tie in with God you might ask? 

Matthew 6:34 has Jesus speaking and he states, “Take no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thoughts for the things itself, sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” 

What it’s trying to say is that we cannot predict the future. 

And we can’t tell what the future is going to hold.

So we are to not worry about the future at all. 

But it seems like the music industry is so concerned with telling the future that it’s just ignoring God. 

So I actually put that in a Facebook post and I said, “Now I’ve been wanting to release music for a while now, but I always get pushed aside to do something different. Now, I’m trying to release music again, but I will pray to God to help me to release music.” 

Because what happens is that the only one who has the future in his hands, is the Lord. 

The Lord is the one who controls when things happen and how they happen. 

And even though the music industry says to do something, we know as Christians that we cannot predict the future. 

So I will try and promote the music I release before, But I shall always include God first before I finish promoting. 

For I cannot tell the future at all and God is the one in control. 

So the news!

So the news is that right now, i’m going to start releasing music. 

I already have around 4 songs written, three of them are fully produced, Two of them are mixed, and one is mastered. 

I already have one song out. 

But I’m going to make a 6 song EP right now and release it on all major streaming platforms. 

And we’ll see where it goes. 

I know they sound good because I’m listening to them right now. 

Lol they are catchy, but more importantly they are going to glorify God with song.
