If God is so good, why did he create a thing such as homosexuality? I mean if he didn’t like it, it wouldn’t be here right?

This is an excellent question that I would be glad to answer. 

Let’s talk about it

The purpose of homosexuality

So many times in the bible, homosexuality is considered a sin. 

And it is.

But why would God have it? 

I mean why would God allow homosexuality? He could give us strength to not be homosexual and yet he doesn’t give it to us. 

Let’s talk about it.

Some people say people are born homosexual. 

So the world teaches that people are born homosexual. 

But what does the bible teach? 

Let’s go to Romans 1:28-29, It actually has God speaking about how homosexuals are made. 

And he says, that they have REFUSED to “retain God in their knowledge.” and because of that God has put them into a reprobate mind and homosexuality. 

So the purpose of homosexuality is that it’s a consequence for not having God in your life. 

It’s a consequence for going against God willfully. 

Because what this implies is that the people who are homosexual not only go against God willfully, but they KNOW that he is real and that his ways are true. 

And they still choose to go in their own paths. 

Because the bible teaches that God is a fair judge.

God is fair and righteous and holy.

And though the bible teaches that even a child will be judged against his wrongdoings, that doesn’t apply here. 

Because there are many people who find out that God is real and his ways are true and they immediately change who they are. 

Which is the reason why God doesn’t just change anyone into homosexual. 

Because the bible teaches that homosexuals actually know that God is real and his ways are true but they still go their own paths. 

I will give a testimony right here. 

I one time wanted to find out if this statement is true. 

If homosexuals actually think that God is real and his ways are true and yet still decide to go in their own paths. 

So you know what I did? 

I went to a homosexual friend of mine and she knew that I was Christian and she respected my views. 

And I didn’t bring anything up and she just straight asked me, “German, what does the bible say about homosexuals?” 

And I said, “It says that you know that God is real and his ways are true and yet you still choose your own paths.” 

And you know what she said to me? 

She said, “Do you think you’re so smart?” 

And then another girl who was listening in on the conversation said, “what did you just say?” 

And then this girl said, “You think that God is real and his ways are true?” 

And the lesbian girl said, “isn’t it obvious?” 

And then the girl said, “Why are you saying this?” 

And then the lesbian girl said, “he just guessed what I think.”

And to be honest with you, I’ve done this same test to many gay people and they all say something similar. 

So yes, I do think that God is real and his ways are true. 

And it’s strange because this lesbian girl wasn’t looking for enmity. 

As a matter of fact when I found out exactly what she wanted, she actually asked me this, “German what I wanted to know was does God love me still?” 

And I told her, “yes he does.” 

And to be honest with you, she started to cry a little bit and she said, that’s all I needed. 

And she didn’t cry to make a show, but she cried with a smile on her face and I couldn’t help but to think that the Lord has done something amazing here. 

So never give up on your homosexual friends because God can do amazing things even with them. 

I know that, God knows that, and there’s not one person in the world who can stop that.
