Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all what is the purpose of trials and tribulations.
Let’s talk about it.
2 Corinthians 12:9 and 10 States, “ And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: For my strength is made perfect in weakness Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak the am I strong.”
So what this is saying is that through Christ our weakness becomes a chance to glorify God.
Because what happens is that in our weakness, we go to God and rely on the strength of God to get us through life’s difficulties.
This actually gives a chance for God to be glorified.
And to be honest with you, I had just recently been going through some tough times and you know what, I saw then that this verse is true.
And when you succeed at the trials and tribulations in your life, you actually give glory to God.
And the feeling that you receive is immeasurable.
The feeling that you receive is uncountable.
But that’s not the reason why you pass the tests.
You pass the tests to give glory to God for the things in your life.
You pass the tests so that God may shine in your life.
You pass the test so that God has the throne in your life.
Therefore, we actually need to take joy in distresses or troubles because God will be the one who gives us strength to succeed.
And even when we fail, it is still good and holy that we fail at the appropriate times because this way everyone knows that the times you succeeded was because of God and not on your own accord.
So let the world know that no one is God and no one is higher than God almighty. No one is higher than Jesus.
Let me give you guys some other bible verses.
Romans 5:3-5 states, “and not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience experience’ and experience hope’ and hope maketh not ashamed’ because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
So this bible verses is actually saying that tribulations help us to grow spiritually.
It helps us to grow in a way that is holy and righteous.
Because I will be honest with you guys, if tribulations work patience and experience, I think I would work with tribulations any day, God forbid that my life is always with tribulations, but when in season I am tested, let the Lord take glory in the tribulations that I receive.
God is perfect above all else and if he thinks that you need tribulations, then so be it.
So trials and tribulations can actually be a good thing, just remember that God needs to take the glory when we go through them.
