My first ever EP and I’m so excited!

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all my first ever EP.

Now with this blog post, I’m going to initiate the start of promotion for my up and coming EP.

Let’s get into it

What is it about? 

So there is a common theme related to these songs that I wrote. 

The theme was to glorify God at all costs. 

I know that, that theme sounds like it should be something that every Christian album should do but hear me out. 

Sometimes artists write songs with a political agenda in mind. 

Sometimes artists write songs with a message other than God in mind. 

Now sometimes those messages are good at heart and say good and truthful things, but in reality, the purpose of music is to glorify God. 

It’s not to share a political message and it’s not to share a message other than the glory of God. 

That is the purpose of music, to glorify God with words and songs. 

So I have a good idea as to what I want the album to be called, but I’m still debating because yes the theme is to glorify God at every angle.

But at the same time there was something else going on with these songs. 

The other thing that was going on with these songs was that they were broad concepts strung out together. 

And I felt as if though they were a little too broad. 

So yes they had a common theme but they were so broad that they might’ve talked a little off topic from the rest of the songs. 

Don’t get me wrong, they all glorify God no matter what, 

But they’re not similar in topics.

So I am debating as to what to call this EP.

Also, another important aspect about this EP is that it’s my first ever EP that I ever made.

And this EP initiates the start of a much larger project of coming out with a song every week for 6 months straight. 

It’s all very exciting. 

So there are many aspects to consider when naming this EP.

As of right now I haven’t decided on a name but I’ll give a hint right here as to the lyrics in the song “the answer is God.”

that’s a sneak peak into the EP that I have made. 

I hope to God that you guys like what I put out.
