Hey everyone! So today, I‘m going to share with you all how to learn to blog for your Christian music blog.
Let‘s get into it.
The basics
The basics is that you‘re just constantly writing mini essays that are fun and personal yet serious and instructional.
After all you are writing to showcase who you are as a performer and a person.
The word blog itself means Web log.
It‘s meant to be a sort of Diary Entry that you made on the internet.
Now that‘s a little too personal but it can still give you inspiration as to what to write next for your next blog post.
I personally have written Christian diary Entries on here and music diary Entries on here as well.
It‘s all good for your blog to be honest with you.
But the blog has actually evolved from that.
The blog has evolved into a marketing tool so that you can find fans and clients.
So blogging has evolved from merely being a personal diary entry.
Now we can teach people about things and share our personal point of view from sensitive topics.
We can share our ideas and grow in a community together.
We are not just limited to diary Entries.
Anyways, blogging is so great in the sense that we can attract attention to our music by simply writing blog posts and putting them up on the internet.
It‘s great because it offers a solution that was getting more difficult for indie musicians.
Back in the day, Musicians would print flyers to attract attention to a show or their album.
But now, that has gotten very expensive and for a starving artist to try and promote their music using paid methods, it‘s just very difficult.
We have to work with what we got and the Lord has been gracious to us musicians by providing the internet so that we can connect with our fans.
But anyways, back to the topic at hand.
After you figure out that you‘re going to be writing mini Essays for a majority of the time, you have to really put in the effort to learn to write cohesive sentences.
So basic grammar and punctuation is what‘s needed to write effectively.
Never forget that when starting out, your blog posts might not be the best written pieces of content, so don’t worry about that, just keep chugging along and you should be fine.
