Bible Basics about love

So I feel like I should write about this because I see so many people out there who don’t really understand what is the bible’s concept of love. 

I’m writing this because I want there to be an understanding as ot what love is according to the bible. 

Let’s talk about it.

What is love according to the bible? 

So according to the bible, God is love.

But how do we display our affections of love towards one another? 

There are a few different ways that we express that. 

Let’s talk about a few of them. 

Love towards brothers, mothers, sisters, and fathers. 

So the bible describes that we should honor one another like a brother, mother, sister, or father. 

We ought to honor and care for each other like they were someone that we grew up with all of our days. 

And I hear you, you might be saying to yourself, “But German, there have been evil things that go on within the family, how are we supposed to differentiate what is good and what is not good way of loving a family?” 

Well, you have to ask yourself this question, “What would Jesus do?” 

Would Jesus do this? Did Jesus do this? 

And if you find that the answer that you’re looking for is, “No, Jesus wouldn’t do that, or this or that.” 

Then you’ll know exactly how to treat your family members. 

When you’re talking about love towards each other like brothers, and mothers, and sisters and fathers of course it doesn’t just mean towards your literal brothers, mothers, sisters, and fathers.

But it also means towards people who you have a deep reverend or honor or integrity with. 

And that should be everyone. 

For everyone is a sinner and everyone needs to be saved by faith in Jesus Christ. 

And honestly, I’ve lived that way my whole life, and it’s a fun way to live. 

It’s actually a fun way to live because you meet a whole bunch of people who are just awesome to hangout with. 

Anyways, remember to treat people like they were your brothers, mothers, sisters and fathers. 

And remember that if they don’t treat you the same, then it’s okay to not associate yourself with them and just leave. 

When people don’t treat you kind back, there is nothing wrong with protecting yourself and just leaving. 

Romantic love

Romantic love is the love that you show to your spouse. 

God gave us a spouse and we should honor her in that aspect as well.

We should honor our husbands and wives so that we as Christians can be Godly as well. 

I’m not gay nor support gay rights because I am Christian and I don’t support it. 

I say husband because there are girls who visit this website too. 

I’m also not bashing the homosexual community. 

If you are gay, I pray for you, so that you may know God one day. 

I pray that one day you may be happy and that you are blessed. 

It’s not my goal to offend you but rather pray for you. 

Anyways, back to the topic at hand. 

Romantic love is meant for spouses. 

And it’s okay to be romantic with your spouse. 

But remember that love is not lustful so always treat eachother with Godly honor as well. 

Love towards God

This is the love that will guide all the rest of our loves in our life.

Our love towards God will drive us and give us strength to honor one another in a way that is holy and righteous. 

God is perfect at every turn and he knows what to do at all times. 

So always remember that if you are ever down, God is here. 

Some tips for love towards God

My biggest advice for you to show your love towards God is this, “love is an action.” 

So if you love God, take action and do things that show that you love him. 

Take that extra step and provide food for the homeless person on the street. 

Take time out of your busy day and pray to God for some of the things in your life. 

Take time and find someone to minister to. 

There are just so many ways that you can go about showing your love for God that 

Here are some other ways that you can show your love towards God.

Read your bible

Go to church

Write in a blog about God

Make YouTube Videos about God

Make music about God

Write poetry about God that glorifies him

Use your money for God, not just in giving to poor people or Tithes, but by making a ministry happen.

Actually there are other ways that you can use your money for God. 

Money is actually not meant to just be used each day for junk food and pleasures. 

But rather, it’s meant to glorify God. 

So save your money, spend it wisely on wise things, not on Junk food and pleasures all the time. 

Of course that money means that you can enjoy your money, but it also means spending wisely. 

Everything in Moderation.
