How should we serve God?

Hey everyone! So today, I wanted to share a little something that I myself have been asking.

Let‘s talk about it.

How to serve God?

There are actually a few reasons as to why I am asking this question. How can I serve God? 

And obviously I serve God right now through music and blogging, but I had this question because my pastor said something interesting to me. 

He said,‘German, God doesn‘t want everyone to become a pastor, he wants some people to become doctors and lawyers and teachers.‘

And basically that whole conversation went with everyone is called according to their purpose in life and that purpose is defined by Jesus. 

And what we should be doing is focusing on serving God through our strengths and our weaknesses. 

We should be serving God in all that we do.

And so, I had the question,‘but how can you serve God through the random talents that I have?‘

Particularly the talent that I have is kind of different than serving God.

I‘ll tell you guys what my talent is because I‘m actually still looking for answers because I cannot really see what the answer is.

So my question is,‘how can I serve God with my physical strength?‘

I actually have a good amount of physical strength and I was wondering how could I serve God with it? 

I don‘t personally believe in going into the military, though God does sometimes call us to bare arms. 

And I don‘t believe in going into the police force.

But what is a good reason as to why God would want me to have physical strength to further his kingdom? 

I mean, I could list some possible situations where physical strength would come in handy for the edifying of the kingdom of God.

You could use it to build houses.

Building a house requires physical strength and you could use it to provide shelters for homeless people. 

But if that‘s the case you would have to use all of your talents and resources for God and that means that if you‘re a doctor, you would have to provide your doctor services to those less fortunate who can‘t afford a doctor.

But then you‘re not paid for what you‘re worth. 

But you‘re doing it for God.

And then, what if you‘re a skateboarder or any other Olympic athlete?

How could you use swimming or weightlifting as a means to glorify God? 

Me personally I know exactly how to use music to glorify him, you write songs for him, and you write music for him and exalt his name with songs. 

But what about different talents? 

I have good sales talents, but how can you use that for God? 

I think writing this blog has helped me to discover how to use my talents for God, all hail him.
