How do I persist in my music career?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to not give up on your music career. 

I know it can be difficult to stay focused on your career, especially since you have so many aspects of your music career to actually focus on. 

But here are some tips that I would give in order to not give up. 

Form habits

So there is a saying that if you practice something for 30 minutes a day for 6 months straight, then you have formed a habit. 

So, take your time to form habits because habits that get you through your music career are all over your music career. 

From making blog posts to making music, if you form these habits, then you will go far in the music industry. 

I remember that when I first played the guitar, I was personally practicing around 4 hours a day and would you believe that God did work in my projects. 

And it’s not just the fact that you’re forming habits, but when you prove to God that you really want it, he really starts to help you to become great at the things that you want to be great at. 

Which is the reason why you can continue to do habits. 

Because God gives you strength to do the things that you want to do. 

Be grateful for what you already have and don’t forget to enjoy the process

The process of becoming a musician can be difficult. 

But it’s also something that you can enjoy. 

My pastor once said, “success is great, but what’s more important is the process of becoming successful. Often times we all want great things without having to go through the process. But that is not the ways of the Lord.”

I mean obviously, we are to work hard and not every day will be an easy day or an enjoyable day, but God will make it bearable and have great fun days involved in those days. 

So be grateful for what you do have and don’t forget to have fun in some of those days. 

Commit your works unto God

Commit all of your work unto God, and he will establish your thoughts. 

Make it so that you’re building your kingdom in heaven and not on earth so that God can bless your thoughts. 

Commit all of the work that you do to God and he will guide you. 

Literally everything that I’ve ever committed to God, God has blessed, so I encourage you to do the same. 

This is probably the most important thing that you can do.
