Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a problem that I have.

Let’s talk about it

I have a short temper

So what happens is that when I was a kid, I was really good at watching how angry I got.

I don’t know why I just had strength like that.

And honestly it was God who had helped me.

But what happens is that as I got older, it felt like the world’s influences just started to really hit me hard.

And I get it, I cannot change the world and I have to learn how to live in it without being a part of it.

But honestly, I see in myself that I have a short temper and that short temper gets me into trouble.

Like what happened today was that my friend made a joke, it wasn’t anything bad but he cursed at me and insulted me.

He was just trying to have fun and I didn’t take offense to it.

But the more I thought about it, I thought that he was really pushing my buttons.

And so I responded back by cursing back to him.

And honestly, I felt shame right afterwards.

I felt as if though everything that I ever learned in the Bible, I just didn’t believe in it really.

Because when it came down to it, I just didn’t have the strength to stand firm in the things that I believed in.

And I felt as if though I had just failed.

I felt shame and regret and guilt.

Just for cursing.

And I prayed to God about it, but it still hurts.

And I remember my pastor saying something in church,

He said, “I am not sinless and neither is anyone in the room.”

But we strive for perfection because that’s what God asks us to do.

I know I’m going to hate myself for it later on, but we’ll see where God takes me.

He will always be right and he will always guide me in the right direction.

I hope that I was an encouragement to you guys today to strive for perfection and if you fail, then get back up and chase God once again because God is worth the fight.

I want to remind everyone that everyone has sin, even the best of Christians have sin, so we ought not to trouble ourselves over it. We ought not to deceive ourselves with the fact that we might have sin.

The bible even says to admit the sins that we do for whoever does that seeks forgiveness.

And I do seek forgiveness, not from you all, but from God.

I admit my sin to you all because I want forgiveness from God.

it’s something in the Bible to do so, so I admit it today that I sinned against God.

Always have more faith in God than in man because God will take care of you throughout all of life’s difficulties.
