How to use a DAW

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to use a DAW

Let’s get started.

Some basics

So, here are some basics that I think that everyone using Video editing and music production should get familiar with. 

Video editing and Music production are similar but different. 

So with Video Editing and music production tools, you’ll notice that they resemble when you open them up. 

But let’s pretend you don’t know how to use either of them. 

Well, one way to learn how to use ANY DAW is by reading the help manuals on your current DAW. 

So, just read the help manuals on your DAW because what happens is that DAW manufacturers want you (the bedroom producer) to actually use their DAW. 

They don’t want your education to limit their use. 

So they actually post a lot of helpful and fun videos and manuals on their websites and in the boxes that come with the DAW to help you to actually learn how to use any DAW. 

Now, when you read these help manuals, almost all of them come with the same things, it just differs slightly when you have to find the things that you’re looking for and how to present them. 

What I recommend you to do, is to just spend some quality time tinkering and reading those manuals, and just spend some time learning how to use those programs. 

It might take you a few days to really use the best of your DAW, but it will be worth it. 

And of course, the internet is a library of huge proportions when it comes to lessons as to how to do different things for each DAW, so don’t hesitate to ask questions on the internet. 

That’s literally the way that I learned how to use a DAW. 

I never took formal classes, I just messed around a lot with different DAWs. 

And I read my first DAW help manual from start to finish. 

It was Studio one Artist for like Studio One 3
