Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all why it’s so essential for artists of all kinds to be writing in a blog almost every single day.

Let’s get started

It allows you to promote your art on a platform

So what happens is that back in the day, artists would go door to door and try and sell people on their art.

Literal art.

Like, they would take the initiative of being a door to door salesman and try and sell and promote their art by going door to door and taking their paintings along with them and try and sell them to people in the community.

However, back in the day, promoting in this capacity wasn’t restricted or even outlawed.

Nowadays, you need licenses to go out on the street and pass out flyers and sometimes these licenses can get pretty expensive.

Sometimes they require that you already be a registered business owner with the backings of a business to actually go out and pass out flyers.

Back in the day, they didn’t require none of that.

So, it’s difficult for most of us to actually go out there and promote our music by getting out there on the street.

But, because of the rise of the internet, particularly blogging, we now can promote our music and our art by just writing in a blog.

Also, we are not confined to just one area.

We can now promote to the whole world.

Which gives us an advantage.

The only downside to this is that it takes a long time of blogging to actually make a decent income off of your art.

You have to learn about internet promotion and regular promotion.

It’s really not that hard to promote yourself on the internet, it just takes a lot of patience.

All you have to do is create content consistently for a long period of time.

There is a website and I think it’s called Ghost.org and it states that usually it takes around 2-4 years of consistent blogging to actually see success from your blog.

So just know that I think that, that dude is telling the truth and that this is the way to go.

Just trust in the process that it takes a whole lot of work to get somewhere and you will get somewhere.

Believe it or not, the more higher up you get in your music career, you’ll find that you’re going to need to write more often.

Whether that’s writing to record label executives or producers, it’s all about writing to these people.

So, writing is an essential aspect in the musician, not only because it promotes and you can communicate effectively, but you’re also a songwriter.

Believe it or not, writing in this blog helps to develop lyrics.

It really does.

So trust in the fact that this does help.
