Battles that I struggle with Part 2

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all another battle that I struggle with.

Let’s talk about it. 

As an artist

So a few days ago, I wrote another blog post with similar taste except it talked about the spiritual side of my artistry. 

It talked about how I struggle with my relationship with God and how that affects my artistry, my musicianship. 

And so today, I’m going to share with you all some of the battles that I struggle with as an artist. 

As always, God is the most important aspect of my life, but today, I’m going to share with you all what are the things that I need to work on as a musician.

My battle with money

So, there is a promise in the Bible that God actually promised to all of us.

The promise is that anyone from any background can make a lot of money just as long as you work hard and love God above all else. 

If you put those two things in opposite order that’s how you should do that. 

And I am a firm believer that this is true. 

I strongly believe that a musician can earn a great income with music Just as long as he applies himself to the trade. 

And I’ve seen it before. 

I’ve seen musicians make money from the internet and from different places that just allows a musician to thrive. 

And currently right now, I haven’t made anything just yet, but I know for a fact that God will be there when I start to make money from my blog and my music. 

For the month right now, I have around 440 views to my blog.

It’s great to know that you’ve made great progress in the past few years. But still not where I want it to be at. 

If you’re really good at it, you could make great money starting at 10,000 views. 

But if you’re just trying to start out, you could make a great start at income at 5,000 views a month. 

Anyways, that’s my biggest struggle that I’m going through as an artist.

My struggle with getting heard

So it has been a struggle and a half trying to get people to listen to my music. 

It really is difficult. 

You have to blog so much for google to really put you on blast.

And you have to wait such a long time before google really does anything to your blog. 

I think I’ve been blogging for 3 years and 8 months now and honestly, I see the growth in my blog, but it’s just a struggle having to go through this. 

You really want the views and the readership right now. 

But of course, it doesn’t work this way. You have to play the long game unfortunately. 

I’ve gotten heard though, and I’ve almost made a dollar from my music, so it’s not without successes here and there. 

The great news is that recently recording artists have been asking for the streaming platforms to give artists a raise per listen on each streaming platform.

And praise the Lord, their voices have been heard starting with Apple Music. 

I think back in the day, Apple Music payed $0.005 per stream. 

That’s not even a cent per stream. 

So artists would have to have around 1000 streams before they got a dollar in return.

Now, I have around 134 streams and I’ve almost made a dollar. 

And, I’m not a well known artist. 

So, there is money to be made in the songwriting Gold rush. 

Anyways, those were the two struggles that I’ve had with my artistry
