Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how I overcome my musical challenges.

Let’s talk about it.

The challenge of money

So believe it or not, I know this is going to sound really difficult to believe but there is a statistic out there that states that 70% of millionaires started with little to no money. They did not inherit their wealth and they actually worked their way up to the millions that they have.

And if we examine some of those millionaires lives, they all follow a similar pattern, there is a period of no money, there is a period of building, there is a period of streamlining the process, and there is a period of success.

But the thing is that with all of those periods of life, there are many ups and downs that are associated with those timeframes.

And this happens over the course of a long period of time.

So good money is not an overnight thing. It actually takes a long period of time to actually get the money that you want.

Now how do I apply that to music?

Music is very similar but the thing about music is that as musicians, we can start it at such a young age that we go through some of these periods in life as a kid.

We start off by just asking our parents for guitars and pianos and voice lessons.

And in a sense that is our broke phase because on our own we don’t have money.

And we need time to build up our talent to the point where it is something valuable.

And it takes time to actually do all of the things that a musician needs to do.

Back in the 50s do you know what was the average age of a signed artist in a record label? It was 30 years old. That’s still young, but it’s not 16 like how they have some of the kids in record labels nowadays.

The record label was actually originally meant for older people to get into, not for young kids.

Anyways, what I’m saying is that it actually takes a lot of time to build up your skills as a musician to the point where you can make great music.

With that being said, all of this has to do with money because the way that I deal with the money problem is to remind myself, that good money takes time.

I remind myself that it takes patience and hard work and determination.

Things that ultimately come from God, but you all know that.

And when we are doing things like this, I must stress that it is important to pray for your projects because ultimately God can give you the strength to complete the projects that you’re supposed to do.

The challenge of sharing your music with the world

So What happens is that there is a big problem in the music community and the problem is that it’s really difficult to get your music out there into the world and get people to listen to it.

You have to go great lengths in order to actually get someone to listen to your music.

And it’s not easy.

But it’s not impossible.

So you all know me already, I am a writer and I blog to get attention to my music.

Of course making videos would be ideal, but as of right now, I know how much time it takes to make a video and it takes a lot of time.

And I just don’t have that kind of time to make the videos that I want to make.

But I do have time to make a blog post every single day and post up every day.

And that’s how I handle getting attention to my music, by literally just posting up blog posts every day.

I currently have averaged around 400 views a month for the past 4 months so it’s not impossible.

And the amount of listens that I’m getting to my music are trickling in.

Slowly but surely I’m getting to where I want to get at.

The problem with performing

So what happens is that most of the money that you are going to make as a musician is going to come from performing shows.

And what happens is that venues do not want to let you perform with them unless you can bring an audience.

Because they make money off of the ticket sales and food and beverage sales.

So this is the great thing about the blog and the internet, is that you can use the following that you have on the internet to pull people to your shows.

And the way that you attract people to your social media accounts is literally by blogging and posting up content. So it’s really an overall cool thing that’s going on here.

You put in some work for a few years and in the long run, you make a lot of money.
