How I’m going to talk about this blog post

So with this blog post, I’m going to give you guys options on what to do with your music and your influence. 

As musicians, we often have the power to do many things.

And we really should be using that power to uplift the name of God to the highest. 

He is perfect and holy at every direction. 

He is the one that deserves to be adored.

So let’s talk about a few options on how to adore God with music and how to mix music with the Lord.

Write songs about him

The first thing that you should do as a musician is to write songs about the Lord. 

That honestly should be the first and foremost thing that we should do. 

For God is perfect and holy and deserves to be adored. 

I remembered that when I first started music, I kept saying to myself, “The Lord is worthy of all praise. I need to praise God with this music that I’m writing.”

And that should honestly be the way that we treat music. 

We should look for ways to write songs for God, we should look for ways to use our talents for him. 

Whatever our talents may be. 

Whether that’s strength or knowledge or musical talents, whatever the case may be, we should always look out to serve God with our utmost abilities. 

Use the power that you have to serve God

So, I am a big fan of using the power that God has given you to further his kingdom. 

So if you have power to help the poor or give to the homeless, by all means do it. 

For it is the will of God that we help each other out in times of trouble and need. 

So that we all might have the things that we need and none of us lack anything but we all have what we need. 

That’s literally bible. 

If we were to have anything in our life, and if we were to have in abundance, we are to share those things because it is the will of God that no one lacks anything. Sometimes the power that God gives doesn’t necessarily have to mean to give your things away. Sometimes it means to advocate for them in politics and government. 

I’m neither for democrat or republican, but if you have the chance to voice an opinion about the homeless population, go ahead and do it. 

It is the will of God that the homeless have what they need. 

And that no one lacks anything. 

Lastly, use your talent as a blessing to God

This is meant more so for those musicians who still haven’t been heard yet. 

If your true calling is God, make it your calling and create music that honors him regardless if anyone hears it. 

Make it so that your songs reflect God.

I know it’s impossible to make a song and know that God liked it.

But God looks at the heart and he sees if the heart is in the right place. 

Spend quality time in prayer and dedication to God in order to actually come out with music that breathes life and shows the strength, love, and wisdom of God. 

Sometimes when you make music, your songs will go unheard, but that’s okay because we are worshipping God anyways, so it doesn’t matter what song gets heard or not, our Lord hears it.
