My number one battle that I continue to struggle with as a Christian musician

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some of the battles that I struggle with as a Christian musician

Let’s talk about it

Battle one: the battle of faith 

So what happens is that one of these days, I was really struggling. 

And I remember I literally looked up to the sky and I said, “I could really use you right now.” 

And of course I was talking to God in a vain manner. 

I was saying to God, “why don’t you work in my life?”

But of course that was a vain manner of me speaking to him. 

And then just today, something amazing happened and I literally gave all the glory to God. 

And then I remember in Job what Job had said to his wife when the bad things in his life were happening. 

So for those of you that don’t know the story of Job in the Bible, Job was a perfect man, and he was just in the eyes of the Lord, which is what the Bible describes him as. 

And what happened is that the devil went to God and he said, the only reason why Job is good to you, is because you have been good to him. Let me take away all that is his (for Job was wealthy) and he will curse you. 

And God said, “Fine do with him what you will but let him live.”

and it was so. 

And Job’s life was ruined, his houses were destroyed, his children perished, his cattle and his livestock were killed, and his gold and silver were robbed, and all of his servants died. 

And so then Job wept and he WORSHIPPED God. And he said, “Blessed is the Lord who is on high.” 

And so then his wife came up to him and said, “Curse God and die.”

and he said, “Are we not much more than the heathen who only worship God during the good and not the evil?” 

And this is trying to say, that no matter the situation, we are to worship God. 

Throughout all of life’s storms and difficulties, we are to worship God. 

And I remembered this when I gave glory to God for I only gave glory to God during the good and not the evil. 

And I felt like I had sinned against God at this point, 

Because what are we to say against God?

What are we to say against what he does in our lives? 

How can we say that the things in our lives are wrong when God has never been wrong? 

Yes this battle has challenged me over many days. 

But God is perfect even in all the storms that we go through.
