How it started Vs. How it’s going

Hey everyone! I’m just going to jump right into the blog post this time, No introduction needed, let’s do this

How did my music start?

It all started with a dream. 

A desire to serve God with music. 

I first wanted to pick up an instrument because I had God in my mind and in my heart. 

I wanted to serve God with music because I felt like I was being honest with myself when I said that I wanted to serve God in music. 

I kept saying to myself, “I have to serve God with music. I have to serve him.”

There are millions of people out there who claim to be Christian and really they do Christian things because it could bring them money but they don’t have God in their hearts. 

And I saw that at a young age. 

And so I said within myself, “I want God in my heart and mind and in my life and I will make God my work.”

and so I started to pray to God about it. 

I prayed to God about the fact that I wanted to be a musician and serve him in holiness. 

And sure enough, when I was 11 years old, my parents gave me my first guitar for Christmas. 

And I started my journey. 

Oh how my days were filled with prayer about my music. 

I prayed to God every time I practiced. 

I prayed to God every time I played the guitar or sang or anything. 

I always prayed and I prayed so that no matter where I go, I may always worship and adore him in song because I want to worship him in song. 

And I remember it was lowly beginnings. 

We weren’t exactly the richest of families, but we weren’t poor either. 

And I remember being in that apartment just praying and waking up early sometimes to practice the guitar. 

And I remember my days were filled with joy all throughout those days with the guitar and I remembered and gave thanks to God about the guitar and I remembered that Jesus answers prayers. 

How’s it going now?

It is going well in my life. 

My music is doing exactly what I prayed for all the way at the beginning, though I had lost my way in the middle, I eventually found my way back worshipping the Lord through song and holiness. 

I only write Christian music nowadays. 

The reason for this is because I believe that God deserves all of the talents that I have. 

I believe that music is a form of worship and should be used to serve God in it’s entirety. 

He is holy and I must honor him in truth, song, and righteousness. 

I remember about my prayers from time to time and I remember of how God answered me in those days. 

Where things were dark and deep, I remember God and how beautiful he was. 

He was holy and righteous all of those days. 

All hail him.
