How to prove to yourself that God is real?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a way to prove to yourself that God is real. 

Let’s talk about it. 

So what does the bible say? 

So the bible talks about this subject as a matter of fact. 

It says that we as humans don’t really believe in God but not because we don’t have enough science to prove that God is real, but it’s because of our own sin nature. 

Because the bible is clear that even though we were to have all of the proof in the world that God is real, we would still fall to sin time and time again and we would still disbelieve what God has done. 

We would be quick to forget and even try and blind ourselves to the fact that God is real. 

It’s proven many times in the bible almost instantly sometimes too. 

When Moses was getting chased by the Egyptians, God rained fire to stop the egyptians from getting the hebrews. And still the egyptian army chased after the Hebrews and tried to capture them to enslave them once more. 

And that was immediately after God rained down fire. 

And the Egyptian Army knew that these people were the people of God. 

So like, the Egyptians weren’t the exact problem there, they were the problem for the Israelites, but it also shows the sin problem in man. It just shows that we could ask God to rain down fire from the sky and we would still disbelieve in him because of our own sin nature.

So with that being said, how can we believe in our hearts for God to act in our hearts?

Pray

So I know that this sounds counterintuitive, but if you pray to God to give you faith in him, he will change your heart. 

I don’t think that there is a single person on this earth who is born wholeheartedly believing in God. 

We all have doubt. 

But there has to be a point where we have to take a step and pray to God to give us faith towards him.

I remember one time, I asked my dad, “Dad how can we get God to hear us when we don’t have faith?”

And he said something and he wasn’t Christian or anything but he said this, “Son, you don’t think that God knows that you are seeking faith in him? You don’t think that God knows that you don’t have faith right now but want faith? Just the act of prayer alone is faith enough for God to act upon your prayer. Because you took time to communicate with him and try and believe in something that is hard for you to believe.” 

And ever since then I just try and believe in God every time I pray. I try my best to believe in God every time I pray. And even though I fail time and time again, I will do my best to pray to him because that is bible. And I will do my best to believe in him. 

So start that leap of faith, and just start praying to God and he will give you faith.
