What is the most powerful and useful tool for an indie musician

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all the most powerful tool that you could use as an indie musician. 

Let’s talk about it. 

Google

So what happens is that I find myself back here again and again. 

Tried and true methods of researching things on the internet lead me to believe that Google is probably the most reliable resource for an indie musician. 

Not only is it a search Engine, but it is a free tool to use to save files and create documents of all kinds. 

Let’s talk about some of these features that Google does and how I use it to the maximum of my abilities. 

Search Engine

With the power of knowledge right at the fingertips on Google, you literally have access to information that used to be reserved only for University Students. 

Of course not all of the information that’s on Google is a reliable source so practicing smart researching techniques is best to use. 

Things like taking into account which source is saying it, and also how recent the information was said are all things that you need to take into account when seeing what is true and what is not true. 

But not only that, you can get yourself out there on the internet. 

By looking up which platform you would like to promote yourself on, you come to find out that this whole music game is actually a lot of fun and work too. 

Also, Google itself has it’s own platform for which you can blog on, so if you really wanted to you could use that platform. 

I didn’t because I felt it was best to use WordPress, but hey nonetheless, some people prefer Blogger. 

Google Drive

I have come to find out that Google Drive has a wide array of capabilities. 

I have saved Videos, Photos, Music, Files from music, word documents, excel spreadsheets, and powerpoint presentations.

So like, yeah there are a wide array of uses for Google. 

And as an indie musician, we are actually looking for all of the things that Google has to offer. 

We are looking for ways to write and record, and ways to graph and present. 

And actually Google Drive has all of that and then some more. 

Currently, I’m writing all of my blog posts on Google Docs.

I am recording and saving all of my music on Google Drive. It is such a powerful tool, if you don’t have a Google account as an indie musician, What are you even doing? 

They’re not paying me to say these things, I just wanted to share with you all some of the benefits that Google has and why every musician should look for Google if not something extremely similar.
