Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a little bit of encouragement.
I would like to encourage you to not wait for the New Years to start doing big things with God.
I would like for you to start right now with the promises and commitments that you should keep with God.
Let’s talk about it.
It’s November and…
New Years is right around the corner.
And like many of us, we are already starting to think about what our New Year’s Resolution is going to be.
Maybe it’s going to the gym more often, maybe it’s trying to sell your first album as a musician.
Which are all good goals to achieve by.
But what is the most important thing about our lives?
It’s God.
Jesus.
The Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.
And some of you might have a New Year’s Resolution already associated around God and that’s great and all but why wait?
God is so beautiful, it’s like having the option to do meet your favorite Christian musician right now or wait until New Years to do it.
I mean right now would be the preferred choice right?
that’s how we should treat God.
We need to treat him with the same excitement that we would treat meeting someone in our physical bodies.
So here is what I want to say
Why wait to serve God?
Why wait to serve God when you can do it today?
Go out there and serve God with everything that you are today.
I mean I get it, you want to wait until the New Year’s to start doing the things you promised you were going to do yourself.
But I mean, that’s putting the holiday over God.
You want to celebrate the holiday more than you want to celebrate God.
I will say that if you wait, it’s more than likely that you’re just going to forget about your New Year’s resolution with God and you’re just going to end up abandoning your commitment altogether anyways.
So, just start today and pursue your prayer life, your bible life, your church life to the utmost of your abilities today.
God does reward a faithful worker.
He is not slack in his promises.
He is beautiful and perfect and holy in every way.
And you should treat him that way.
