Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all something difficult that’s going on right now.
Let’s talk about it.
Something bad happened
Don’t worry I’m not dying, or torn apart about something.
But something happened just recently and I was a little bit upset about it.
And honestly, right now I’m thinking about it.
I have to wait until tomorrow to really see what’s the verdict or the outcome if you will.
And what happened is that I took this time to really talk to God.
I said, “This might be happening in my life, but that will not change my perspective on you.”
Remember my favorite book in the Bible, Job.
Job had everything in life. He was rich and blessed with children and a wife. He had servants and everything that would’ve made a man rich in his days.
And what happened is that in that time, Satan wanted to test Job.
And he went to God and he said, “Look at your servant Job, he has been good to you because you have been good to him. Let me take away all that he is and he will curse you.”
And God said, “Fine do with him what you will, but let him live.”
And it was so, the devil went and destroyed everything that was Job’s.
He killed his servants, he destroyed his houses and his cattle and livestock, his children were killed and his Gold and Silver were robbed.
And so then, do you know what Job did?
He did NOT curse God.
Instead he WORSHIPPED him. And said, “Holy is the Lord God almighty. From Dust is where I came from, To Dust I shall return.”
and all the time, Job did not sin against the Lord.
And the story goes on, but the point of the story is that even in the difficult situations that we go through, we are to worship God and glorify him in the evil just as much as in the good.
And I thought about this today.
When I was going through this hard time, I said, “Lord you are perfect above all else. And I will worship you.
Because he is perfect and he is holy and
Though I am in a difficult place, I smile because God is perfect and he is holy and he is the one who I can count on.
All hail God.
