How to create a meaningful Thanksgiving

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to create a Meaningful Thanksgiving.

Let’s talk about it. 

What makes a great thanksgiving?

I love the whole idea of Thanksgiving. 

The idea of sitting around food that you have been blessed with and sharing the things that you are thankful for is just an awesome idea. 

The reason is because more often than not, we are almost always looking to be ungrateful. 

We almost always have a reason to be ungrateful. 

For God, having a grateful heart towards him for the things that we have is essential. 

Not only does it prevent sins from entering into our lives, but it is also essential for living a happy life and not being filled with bitter. 

I remember one year, I was so bitter that I said that I wasn’t thankful for anything, and that same year, God blessed me tremendously. 

And I was like, “Why would God bless me if I was so ungrateful?”

and then it was at that moment that I felt shame and I felt as if though I had sin. 

I’m not saying to go out there and be ungrateful for everything because you’ll get stuff because that’s far from the truth. 

I’m just saying that I was ungrateful and then I had forgotten about that time and then I was blessed and God showed me that I had sinned. 

That’s when I saw that I had sinned. 

So to make your thanksgiving meaningful, I think that it’s important to live with a spirit of thanksgiving every day of the year. 

Live with the thought that you are grateful for the things that you have. Live with the thought that you are happy about the things that you have. 

And when you pray, thank God for the things that you have both materialistically, spiritually, everything. 

Pray to God and thank him for the talents that you have, or the house that you live in, Pray to God and thank him for the health that you have and the nights of sleep where you rest easy. 

Pray to God and thank him for everything. 

And this Thanksgiving, remember to include God in your thanksgiving dinner and time. 

Include God in your thanksgiving and remember that we could receive nothing if it were not because of him.
