Keeping the Christ in Christmas

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a few things about Christmas.

Let’s talk about it. 

Christmas is a fun time, but it is also a serious reminder that we were in debt to God.

So what happens is that Christmas is a fun time to exchange gifts, and be with family and friends. 

To an extent it’s even fun to remember about the nativity. 

It’s fun to hear about the story of Jesus and how his family escaped the trechery of King Herod. 

But sometimes that’s the farthest that we get when we listen to church on the Sunday before Christmas or Christmas service. 

But let’s talk about what Jesus did and why it was important for him to have been born. 

Jesus the savior

When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, it brought upon themselves and the rest of mankind the wrath of God. 

And what happened is that when this happened, God made a promise.

And he promised that there would be a redeemer who would save the world from their sins and from their ultimate demise, which is death. 

And so God made that promise many times throughout the entire Old Testament. 

And many times did God point to the fact that it had to have been Jesus. 

As a matter of fact, there are verses in the Old Testament that current day Jews do not teach to their people because it could only mean that Jesus is the son of God and he was the one who took away all of the sins of the world. 

Jesus is the savior. 

Jesus is the son of God who came down to redeem the world of their sins. 

John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

Jesus was the one who spoke these words. And he said that because he wanted everyone to know that no matter what you’ve done in life, you can go to heaven. 

He wanted everyone to go to heaven. 

Regardless of what sin you’ve committed in your life, he wanted you to be sure that you could go to heaven. 

So when thinking about Christmas this year

So when you think about Christmas this year, ask yourself this question, have I truly embraced everything that Jesus has done in my life. 

Because now that I have Jesus, I have a new life that I can live for him. 

So, this Christmas, if you haven’t already, go and pray to Jesus and ask him to come into your life. 

Ask Jesus to dwell in your heart and to change your life for the better. 

I promise you that no matter what you’ve done in life, whether you’ve been in prison or whether you’re a multi-millionaire, you can benefit from the fact that Jesus has entered into your life. 

Proclaim to the world that Jesus is the son of God and that he is King. 

Pray to Jesus and ask him to forgive you of your sins. Your life will never be the same ever again.
