Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to talk about how to be a musician during Christmas time.
Let’s get into it.
Christmas time as a musician
So when you’re a musician you kind of have to listen to your crowd.
You have to listen to what they want to hear.
I know that you want to make the music that you want, but it’s also worth noting that you are making a product that your fans want to hear and listen.
And if you don’t make that product, then they will go somewhere else and listen to someone else.
So when it comes to Christmas music, it’s no wonder that almost every artist out there does their own rendition of “Silent Night” or “All I want for Christmas”
So I know that this sounds a little hard especially because sometimes we straight up just don’t like Christmas music.
But if you’re a Christian musician, this could be a great time to make some Christmas jingles that will captivate your audience.
This is an especially great time to make renditions of Christmas music that surround the birth of Christ, or maybe some really great tunes that celebrate the holiday.
Or if you want to be bold enough, go out there and make your own Christmas music that becomes a staple in the Christmas music scene.
Who knows, maybe one day we’ll hear your music on the radio during December.
Remember your socials as well.
So I think that it’s worth noting that you should remember your socials during the Christmas season.
Think about how you want your Socials to appear and post up photos and content regarding the Christmas season.
It doesn’t all have to be about music, it can be about Candy Canes, nativities, and The Three Wise men.
I say that because this is a Christian blog and I was aiming to write towards the Christian population.
But if you don’t mind including Santa Claus and a Christmas tree, by all means go for it.
Don’t forget to keep Christ in Christmas.
Your content
As with any season, you should be revolving your content around that season so you can grab as much attention as possible to your blog or YouTube channel.
It’s actually easy for us Christians because a lot of holidays in the western hemisphere revolve around Christian and Jewish traditions.
Easter is a Christian holiday, Christmas, Thanksgiving can include a lot of godliness in it, Even New Years can include godliness.
Valentines day, is not so much a Christian holiday, but it can be if you do it right.
So, it’s the reason why I am writing about Christmas right now.
To talk about the season.
But, it’s also a great time to bring people closer to God.
Many people do not attend church throughout the year.
And the busiest time of the year for a Church are the weeks leading up to Christmas.
So, it’s a perfect time to tell people about the Gospel.
So tell people about the Gospel in your content, because ultimately, the gospel is immensely more important to talk about than our music, our blog, our interests, etc.
Always remember to talk about God faithfully and lovingly, and he will guide you throughout all of your days.
