Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some music advice that I would give to myself if I were to go back in time and give myself some advice.

Let’s get into it.

I would tell myself that I need to pray and read the bible more often

So what happens is that I was reading the bible one of these days, and I found out that there were a lot of problems that I went through and it all could’ve been avoided if I had just read the bible.

There were things in the bible that said, “do not be wrathful” and a “wise man is slow to anger.”

But there were other things as well.

There were things that said, “Patience is key in good things in life.”

And it also said that, “blessings are simple to ask to God for but they can be hard to get.”

And there’s nothing wrong with those things, it’s just that I did not understand these concepts when I was a kid.

In all reality, when I was playing guitar in my early days, I was just in it to have fun.

I wasn’t thinking about the long term of it.

I just focused myself on guitar so that I could have fun with my friends.

But now, I see that I could’ve avoided a lot of heartache if I had just read the bible and prayed to God.

So the first bit of advice that I would give to my younger self is to be patient with God and to rely upon him and read his word.

Really confide in God no matter what.

I would tell myself to start my blog while practicing the guitar

So, writing in this blog has really opened up my eyes as to the reality of writing.

It’s a job that is actually needed on the internet.

Not only do you talk about important topics, but you practice a craft that is powerful enough to get you places.

It improves your lyricism and your overall writing ability.

It gets you in front of other people.

And since you’re an artist, it adds a depth to your artistry that not a lot of people have.

Lastly I would tell myself that I cannot be afraid to work hard

What happens is that when I was a kid, I actually tried to start another blog, but in all reality, it went nowhere.

And the reason why I couldn’t finish it was because I just lacked the commitment to keep up with the blog.

I lacked commitment and honestly I had way more fun playing the guitar than doing anything else.

So I was more so focused on playing the guitar and doing music stuff than I was doing anything else.

I still worked hard at music, it’s just that I didn’t want to put in the extra effort to write in my blog.

But I learned from that mistake now, and now I’m writing in it consistently.

All thank God.
