New York, and why it’s irrelevant in your music career

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all something that I found out a few years ago. 

Let’s talk about it. 

My dad just came back from New York

So what happens is that my dad just came back from New York. 

And honestly, it brought back a whole bunch of memories. 

It brought back music memories. 

Oh the stories that I have heard about New York and the music industry. 

People call New York the Entertainment Capital of the world. 

They also say that if you can make it in New York, then you can make it anywhere. 

However, I see a flaw in that statement. 

Why New York? What makes New York so special? 

Why is it that I have to build a reputation in New York and not anywhere else? 

Sure it’s the big city where dreams are made.

But Why New York? 

So, I decided for myself, that it’s not true, that if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere. 

The reason is because even though New York has one of the most thriving economies on the market, does it target everyone? 

And even that is not what I’m really trying to say. 

What I’m trying to say is that if you make it anywhere, you can make it anywhere. 

I have heard of big time artists and musicians come from all over the world and all over the country. 

I have heard big time artists come from Virginia, California, Tennessee. Florida, Texas. 

And they made a name for themselves playing shows in New York headlining at Madison Square Garden. 

So personally, I don’t believe that you need to have been in NYC first before becoming a hit. 

It’s for one thing not possible that every recording artist out in the world goes and plays in New York, and also it’s not financially responsible for you to go out there and try and do that. 

NYC is really expensive. 

Overall, if you want to be a musician, a Christian musician, go out there and be the musician that you want to be wherever you are. 

And if you make it anywhere, then you’ll know for sure that you can make it anywhere.
