Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a blog post titled, Prayers can take time.

Let’s get into it. 

Prayers can take time

I remember when I was a kid, I believed with all my heart that if I asked God to make me a wealthy man, then he would make me a wealthy man. 

And if I’m honest, I didn’t know if I was sinning when I believed in that, or if I was just coveting after things that weren’t holy. 

Let’s skip 18 years down the road. 

My life was a mess, I was in jail, and I started to pray to God and read the Bible. 

And I read the Bible in jail and I prayed like you wouldn’t believe it. 

And what happens is that the Lord opened my eyes and he showed me that it’s possible to become wealthy on earth and he has methods on how to do it too. 

But the thing is that it takes time in order to become wealthy according to God’s way. 

And I saw then, that God was going to do exactly that. 

He was going to make me wealthy and he was going to make me a great person. 

But it was going to take time and consistent effort of working day in and out. 

Now, I’m currently not wealthy. 

But I understand the financial concepts that it takes in order to actually become wealthy according to the Bible. 

And what happens is that I’ve applied this principle to my blog from the start of the blog and right now, it’s becoming a success. 

So, this proves that my faithfulness in God, has lead me to become rich.

And not only that, but the answers on how to become wealthy on earth were in the Bible all along. 

This is God.

God has wealth and honor at his side. 

God has beauty and grace at his side. 

I know this sounds really vain, but to be honest with you, when I read the God is the one who gives wealth, It like snapped something in my head.

And it said, so if I want wealth from God, then just follow him and ALL of his ways. 

I know this sounds off and it sounds like I’m preaching the prosperity gospel. 

But I understand why wealth was created, it’s to worship God with it. 

Because I now want to worship God more and more because he is the one who gives wealth. 

He is the one who gives strength and holiness to people. 

I want to worship God but what brought me closer to him was money. 

And it’s not saying that I want only money, because money can’t get you the most important things in life. 

It can’t get you security, love, peace, it can’t get you amazing guitar skills or make you become a doctor. 

Yes it can afford the classes it takes to become a doctor, but to become one takes years of study and work in order to make it through. 

Which is something that requires a little piece of yourself that money can’t buy. 

Money can’t make you a marine or give you the strength to bench 205 naturally. 

It can’t give you friends who will be by your side when you’re poor or deliver you from death, that’s Proverbs 11:4.

Which is why God says to lay your faith in him and not in riches.
