Hey everyone! Let’s talk a little something today about the battle that Christians face every day.

Let’s talk about it

The two dogs

So what happens is that my pastor was talking about another pastor who said that when he is going about his day, there are two wars going on inside of him.

And he compares it to two dogs fighting inside of him.

And what happens is that I experienced that a few times.

And to be honest with you, I experience it every day, it’s just that for certain things it’s easier to win with the side of Christ, but for other things it’s such a battle.

You know what happened?

Today, I was listening to music, and I listen to Christian music a good amount of times, but today I wasn’t listening to Christian music, I was listening to worldly music.

And what happened is that I said to myself, this isn’t me.

And I was disappointed in myself for listening to such lewd music.

Because I will be honest here, I used to listen to music that wasn’t the most morally sound.

And I stopped for the most part listening to that music.

But some days, I just listen to it.

And I’ll be honest here, I just don’t want to listen to it anymore.

It’s like it’s got me by a chain.

Jesus has made it a lighter chain, because back in the day I would’ve compared it to heavy chains.

But now, Jesus has made the chains lighter because I go such a long time without listening to that music.

It feels as if though the chains are breaking and they’re becoming weaker and weaker each day.

Jesus is the real hero here.

For he saved me from all of that music and that thought process.

He is perfect and holy and righteous at all times.

He is God of gods and Lord of Lords.

And the Lord will give me victory like he always does.
