Hey guys, I know we’re already a few days into January, but we’re going to start this year off with God.

Let’s talk about it

The gospel and what God wants you to know

God wants you to know that he loves you.

God wants you to know that he wants to bless you.

God wants you to know that life is painful and even though you might become Christian, life can still be painful.

But God wants you to know that at the end of this life, that God wants to send you into heaven regardless of what you’ve done in life.

Yes if you were a drunk, or homosexual, or fighter, or whatever sort of heinous act has sent people into jails in the past, he wants to you to know that if you accept Jesus into your life, he will forgive you and you will go to heaven.

Let’s read a bible verse that I talk a lot on this blog.

John 3:16

John 3:16 has Jesus speaking and he states, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

Do you know who was Jesus, and I say this because I have heard till this day some people who don’t really understand who Jesus was.

Jesus is the son of God.

Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

He was the one that the ancient prophets talked about that would redeem the world from their sins.

And he said that if you just believed in him, then you would be saved.

John 3:17 – 19 explains the reason why we needed the saving and it was Jesus who said those words too.

He says, “For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved, he who believes in him is not condemned but he who believes him not is condemned already for they have not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.”

This is saying that everyone in the world, no matter how good they pretend to be, was dead in their sins.

Everyone in the world was dead in their sins and that Jesus had to come down to save us because or else we would face eternal condemnation and damnation.

But that’s the good news, is that now, we all can go to heaven.

The Lord, decided that he loved everyone so much that he wanted to send everyone to heaven.

He was so good that he came down and died for us so that we could live.

And now, because of his sacrifice, we can not only go to heaven, but have rewards in heaven.

The bible describes the rewards in heaven as great.

So yes, look forward to the rewards in heaven for they will be great.
