I feel this immense strength

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all this strength that I have as a Christian. 

Let’s talk about it

Power over my music

Over the past few years, the Lord has really strengthened me to not listen to music that curses. 

And actually nowadays, I hardly if at all listen to it. 

The reason for this is because I believe that the Lord is answering my prayer about my music. 

See sometimes these prayers take a long time to complete because your heart needs to change. 

And right now, I just have this strength that tells me to not sing those old songs that I used to sing. 

And right now, I just don’t want to listen to them anymore. 

And I realize that now, It’s even been a long time since I last listened to one of those songs. 

And if I ever have the option to listen to any of those songs, I choose to not listen to it. 

This is the Lord who is working in me. 

I am the Lord’s. 

He has worked in me and is working now more than ever in my life. 

I am so happy over the music that’s in my life. 

It’s still not where I want it to be at. 

If I’m quite honest with you, I really don’t want to listen to any type of music that isn’t the Lord’s because I know for a fact that, that music isn’t what is holy. 

And I don’t want to grow cold to that feeling either because I know that once I grow cold to that feeling, then it will be bad for me. 

I will say that music is really hard to conquer. 

Music is really enticing and powerful. 

It can make you dance and say things that you really don’t want to say. 

It’s strange. 

But I trust that everything is within God’s plan. 

I’m not saying that listening to worldly music that isn’t Christian is good, because I would prefer not to listen to it to be honest with you. 

But I do listen to it and I will stop one day, if I keep praying about it and being faithful to God then God will respond. 

Anyways, I hope this was encouragement to you guys.
