Hey everyone! So today, I just wanted to share with you something that I found interesting.

Let’s talk about it.

Don’t give up, according to the bible

So the bible is clear that we are to not give up on the good things in life.

Now it’s within reason of course that you cannot give up on the good things in life.

So say for example if you want to scale a skyscraper or jump 10 feet in the air, then it’s probably not what God wants you to do.

But if you want to get a good paying job or if you want to have a family or do something that is within the will of God, then it’s okay to get those things.

But where in the bible does it say to not give up?

Well the bible talk many times of being a just man or a righteous man and in Proverbs 24:16 it states, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”

This is literally just encouraging us to not give up.

But rather, to pick yourself back up after falling.

Because it say that, “…a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again…”

That word just is a legal term.

The word just means that you are fair and right according to the law.

And of course, God always says to be with the law, so since God is with the law, then God is literally saying to pick yourself back up again and again and trust in him without hesitation because that is the just way.

So what does this have to do with music?

We as Christian musician have this duty to serve God with all that we are.

And the duty that we have is to listen to his commandments and keep them within ourselves.

Do you know what the word keep means?

It’s a military term.

A military term that means to guard and hold.

So whenever you hear someone say to keep it in your heart, it means to guard it in your heart.

And right now we are to keep the word of God in our hearts and in our minds at all times for that is how God works.

His commandments are scattered all throughout the bible.

So it’s important that you read the bible in order to really grasp what it is that God wants you to do.

And part of that is to not give up.

And if you’re a Christian musician, your duty is to not give up on music.

For that is your calling in life, is to serve God in music.

I know that things look bleak at times, but if you pray to God for all of the things in your life, God will guide you to do the things that you need to do and will help you to succeed.

I’m mainly speaking for myself because I know for a fact that I was called to do music, it’s just a matter of working hard at it now and coming out with music in time.

But pray to God for the thing that God wants you to do in life and God will guide you no matter what.
