What makes a good leader?

I believe that a great leader is someone who leads by example.

It’s someone who when put in position of authority, has strength to do what is right even when it is difficult to do so.

I believe that a good leader is strong on the inside more so than on the outside.

Why is it that the old Generals are the leaders in the Army?

Why is it that the old Captains are the leaders on a ship?

It’s because it takes more internal strength than physical strength to run a large group of people.

Why is it that our fathers were older yet they commanded the house?

It’s because internal strength matters more.

A great leader is clean

A great leader has his room clean

A great leader is responsible

A great leader is excellent at the work that he does.

A great leader listens to others because he addresses the concerns of his subordinates or people he leads.

A great leader can sometimes be physically strong, but only when required.

Intelligence is utmost important to the leader, therefore, he has to get wiser each day by practicing his craft and learning through formal education and from other people.

Size does not matter in a leader, the only thing big that he needs is a big heart.

That’s what a leader should be.
