How to come up with ideas for great content?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to create great content.

Let’s get into it. 

It’s a practice

So what happens is that you’re probably wondering to yourself, “German, there are so many trends that you could choose from and each one would give you a new amount of followers and listeners and viewers to your music, How do I pick one?”

Well that’s one way of creating great content, but the problem with jumping on trends and trying to complete trends is that they can become too repetitive. 

Like sure it’s fun seeing a new face do the same thing that you’ve seen, but at one point it’s just like brain rot, if you will. 

Lol. 

But this blog post doesn’t talk about jumping on trends, though sometimes it’s a good idea to do so. 

This blog post talks about how to create fresh ideas that will ultimately be the start of a trend. 

So, the way that you’re supposed to start a fresh idea is by practice. 

But practicing what?

Brainstorming is what you should be practicing. 

Brainstorming as a practice

So what happens is that if we think back to elementary school, we actually have the answer to coming up with fresh ideas in English class. 

And that’s ultimately through brainstorming. 

There are a few different ways that you could brainstorm.

But I’m going to list my favorite. 

1. Free writing
2. listing
3. mind mapping

If I’m really honest with you, I use free writing and listing the most, I hardly ever use mind mapping. 

Though it can be handy to know how to use all three of those ways. 

Free writing is cool because you tackle the problem head on.

The problem of coming up with an idea from nothing is solved because you dive face first into the problem. 

And you literally start writing about anything and everything and you come up with ideas related to your topic that way. 

Listing is a really quick way to come up with ideas. 

It’s where you list a set of ideas and you choose which one looks best for you. 

It can come in handy when you’re in a pinch. 

Mind mapping is like thought bubbles. 

You make a broad subject and you write down similar subjects around that so that way you can choose which idea you want to write about. 

And yeah that’s basically how you should come up with ideas. 

Just write down ideas and talk about them on paper.
