Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all something that I notice about God

Let’s get started

The Lord is my power

So what happened is that I was reading the bible the other day, and I realized something, 

That God has the answers that I’m looking for. 

He has the answers that I was always looking for. 

And the thing is that I just needed to submit to his word in order to really get the benefit of having the things that he wanted me to have. 

Story time

So what happened is that when I was around 18 or 19, I had my first job. 

And if I’m honest with you, I was really disappointed in that job.

I’m not going to say what it was but I actually expected a whole bunch. 

But in a way, I expected the wrong thing at the wrong time. 

So what happened is that I was expecting to make great money right off the start with that job. 

I was expecting that I was going to climb up the corporate ladder and end up being the boss somehow. 

But if I were to read what the bible says, it says something different. 

It says that good riches take a long time to achieve. 

So though my dreams of climbing the corporate ladder were possible, doing it fast was impossible according to God. That was not the way that God wanted it. 

He wanted it done through the long and slow way of doing things. 

And whatever way he wanted to do it, he wanted it done that way. 

So I was coveting after something that God could say yes to, but I didn’t want to give God the chance to actually work in my life. 

This is wisdom, that if I had read the bible early on in my life, then God would’ve revealed to me that I could’ve had good things, but God wanted to give it to me through patience and effort and hard work. 

Excellent is the way of the Lord. 

So why do I say this?

I say this because I have been reading the bible lately and I find that when I read the bible, I feel something. 

Now God is not a feeling we don’t feel the Lord, but I felt as if though I had control over my life. 

I felt as if though I was in control over the mess that was my life. 

I felt as if though I had the power to clean the mess that my life was in. 

I felt as if though I have the power to raise myself and watch myself succeed. 

And that’s what I feel when I read the bible. 

I feel like I’m given instructions to my life that I always wanted. 

This is why the Lord is my power.
