What God can and can’t do

Hey everyone, let’s just jump right into it today

What can God do?

God can do anything he wants

God is so powerful, that there is nothing that can stop him

His own laws can’t stop him, he is physics, he is science, he is math.

He gave the cheetahs their speed and it’s by his strength that the lions are the declared Kings of the jungle. 

Samson, was given strength by God. 

Immense strength as well. 

David killed Goliath. 

Jesus rose from the dead. 

Nothing can stop God.

He is the laws of motion

If one day he decides that the world needs to stop rotating, it will stop rotating for the world obeys him. 

If the stars need to explode, they will explode.

He is astronomy, he is the professor of the world.

With his intelligence, we made airplanes. With his intelligence, some humans are able to live amongst lions and wolves. 

With his intelligence, Music is an art. 

He is music

He is the song of the songwriter,

He is the song of the universe. 

The world goes by his heartbeat. 

Some people think that the world revolves around them, but no I say the world revolves around God. 

He is the source of life

He is God.

What God can’t do

Now that doesn’t mean that everything is within his will

If there is ever sin, then you know that God is going to stop that. 

Say for example money. 

You could pray to God today to make you rich, 

and you know what it could happen.

But what does the Bible say about how to gain riches? 

What does the Bible say about how God wants you to gain riches? 

It says it takes patience, it says that it takes hard work, it says that it takes diligence and perseverance and ability to rely on him. 

It says to not put your trust on riches but rather him. 

So this is kind of like going to your own human father or mother and asking them for a pair of shoes that are really special

Now your own pair of shoes are good and dandy, but you want something special. 

And so your father or mother just stands there and says, “Wait till Christmas and we’ll get you the best pair.” 

And you frown because now you have to be patient.

but they say good things come to those who wait. 

And it’s so. 

And you can’t complain about those things because those things are good. 

It’s nothing evil and we are not to complain about it. 

Likewise, God has already given you instructions as to how to attain money, it’s written in the Bible and that’s by being patient and working hard and trusting in him. 

So though it’s very possible that God could give you money directly into your checking account, and I’m pretty sure that if we were to look at some real life Christian testimonies there would be some Christians who did exactly that, it’s not the case for most of the time. 

For most of the time, if we want money, then we have to earn it.

And that’s the way that God has it. 

Now what can we expect from prayer?

What can we expect from prayer to God?

We can expect that God answers us. 

We can expect that God shows us love. 

We can expect that God guides us.

So what happens is that I have prayed for a few things in my life, and I see that when you read the Bible, you will understand how to expect God’s timing. 

Like say for example success, it’s not given overnight, and as a matter of fact the Bible says that there should be plenty of hard nights and long hours to wait before you will see success. 

But we can expect that when we pray for things, we.will get a response from God. 

God is clear as to how to achieve the things that you need to achieve. 

Trust in the process of God and he will take care of the rest.
