What is real religion?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all what real religion is to a Christian

Let’s get into it

What is real religion?

Real religion, real Christianity, real faithfulness towards the Lord is loving him above yourself. 

It’s when you tell the truth even when it’s difficult to do so.

It’s when you see that homeless person on the street and decide to give to them because the Lord has placed it in your heart to give to them. 

It’s denying yourself. 

It’s questioning what is the holy thing to do and not what you want to do. 

When you find yourself debating the more holy appropriate path, then you’ll know that you are following God. 

Real religion to a Christin is when you don’t know how to play an instrument, and yet you still create songs for God because you believe that God will see your faithfulness and will reward you accordingly. 

It’s when you don’t know how to sing, and yet you sing unto God in church because God is worth singing to. 

Real religion is abandoning your family in a country that doesn’t love Jesus because you want to follow Jesus.

Real religion is abandoning the riches that you have in order to follow Jesus, like how I’ve seen some celebrities in Hollywood do.

Real religion is giving up what you have in order to see others uplifted high

Real religion is debating which of the strict rules in the book of the leviticus are the ones you need to follow. 

For example, there was a rule in Leviticus that said that every Jewish person had to where a blue tassel on their clothes to symbolize that they belong to God and it was to remind them that it was God who they were serving.

When you debate on how to do exactly that without being Jewish, you will know that God is looking at you with great joy. 

Real faithfulness towards Jesus, will not end 

Real faithfulness towards Jesus, will live throughout eternity. 

Real faithfulness towards Jesus will reach unto the heavens.
