Hey guys! So today, I’m going to do a little expression of my gratitude towards God. This is not a bible study, but a verse study because of the things that I’m doing right now, I must tell you guys that the things that I’m doing right now, is not my own strength that does it.
It is not my own power that does it.
But rather, it is Jesus who does it.
Let’s get into it
So what am I doing right now?
If I’m honest with you guys, I’m doing a lot of things that could potentially lead to something big.
For one I am a pool player
And I didn’t start playing pool until I was 23 years old.
And what happens is that I know this guy who I just played pool against, and the rumor with him is that he used to play professionally.
And what happened is that I just beat him 3 games in a row.
And actually it was a huge accomplishment that I did to be honest with you, because amongst my friends group, he is the best player around.
In case you don’t know what pool is, it’s billiards.
And also, I was invited to go and play on a 10 ball billiards team.
I denied the offer, but I’m still debating to join it.
That’s one thing,
The second thing is this blog
This blog is growing, It has grown tremendously since I started it 4 years ago. Right now I’m getting between 400 and 600 views per month.
And that’s not it, The music I keep writing, I realized now was God who helped me write it from the beginning.
It was God who did it. It was Jesus.
I mean, the first song that I ever wrote was almost put on the radio.
And that’s a feat that’s unheard of.
I’m pretty sure that some of you are aware of who Taylor Swift is, and it was reported that she wrote 100 songs before she was signed to Sony.
And Ed Sheeran wrote 150 songs before he was signed to his major label.
I was about to get put on the radio with my first song.
And they did it at a young age too, they did it at 16 and 20 years old.
I was about to do that at 19.
And all of this to say Deutoronomy 12:7 and what it says.
What happens is that this bible verse was speaking about submitting to the word of God. About bringing offerings and tithes and gifts unto the Lord.
And it says that if you give these things to God, then in Deuteronomy 12:7 states, “and therefore ye shall eat before the Lord your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that you put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.”
And if I’m honest with you, this isn’t the bible verse that I wanted to share with you all.
Though it says similar to what I wanted to show you guys.
It says, “…and ye shall rejoice in all that you put your hands unto…”
In all that I put my hands unto?
It means that God will bless you in all that you do if you bring everything you have unto him.
And I see it.
But not only that, it also says unto your households.
When I started taking God seriously, do you know what happened?
My dad started college again, my mom started her business, my sister graduated college, and my older sister became something good, just know that I can’t share what she is but just know that she is something good.
And not only that, but my father Graduated college with his Masters degree and when he started college, he didn’t even have his bachelors yet, suma cum laude.
My mom has a business right now that I believe is doing good.
And my sisters have a bright future ahead of them.
So yes this word of the Lord is true and righteous and holy and just.
Follow God. I must urge you all that it is not my own doing that does these things, it is God.
God has placed his righteous hands of blessings on my family and it has not stopped and it won’t stop.
