The Gospel Explained in Detail

Hey everyone! So today, I wanted to go in depth with the gospel. 

Let’s talk about it.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

So let’s start with the beginning. 

In Genesis, the Bible explains that God created man perfect and in his own image. 

And he left work for man and his wife but it was holy and it wasn’t meant to be a treacherous ordeal. 

It was actually supposed to bless the man in all that he did. 

And God took a rib from Adam (The man) and made Eve (The woman)

and everything was perfect and everything was in harmony with God. 

And there was no violence and there was only peace.

Now what happened is that God gave them the garden of Eden to live and thrive off of. But what happened is that God gave them one rule and it was to not eat of the apple of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. 

And God made a warning to them and said that the day that they did that, they would surely die. 

And it was so, the man and the woman attended to the garden and every living creature that there was. 

Now what happened is that there was a serpent in the Garden and at the time, the serpents could walk instead of slither on their stomachs. 

And so the serpent went up to Eve and tricked her into eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.

And Eve ate and gave to her husband to eat and he did eat and at that instant their eyes were opened and they saw that they were naked and they ran and hid from the Lord. 

And when they heard the Lord in the Garden the Lord asked them, “Why are you hiding there?” 

And the man said, “We were afraid that you were going to see us for we were naked.”

and God said, “Who said you were naked?” “Did you eat of the tree of which I told you not to eat of?”

and the man said, “The woman she made me eat it.” And the Woman said, “The serpent tricked me.”

and it was so that God became wroth and he banished man from the Garden of Eden and laid upon him a few curses. 

The first curse was the curse of the ground, it was to bring forth pain and it would not yield the fruit as easily as in those days.

Also he were to be put to death at the end of his days. 

And the woman was to be increased in pain in child birth and she were to die as well. 

And it was so. 

Enter the promise of God

Now when God did this, he made a promise to mankind. 

And actually his promise to mankind was that there was going to be someone who was going to redeem the world from their sins. 

And it was through this person that man would once again be reunited with God. 

And God made a promise to mankind that this was not the end and that rather, man would have a way to get to heaven and be with God once again. 

And actually the rest of the Old Testament actually has many people talking about this person and his name was the Messiah. 

This Messiah was supposed to live a perfect life and be the sacrifice that God needed to appease his wrath. 

And all throughout the Old Testament this promise is made to mankind many times. 

This promise is made many times and with different shapes and forms predicting how the Messiah was going to be, where he was going to come from, How he was going to live, etc. etc. 

Who is that promise? 

It was Jesus. 

Jesus is that promise. 

I’m not going to go over all of the Bible verses that talk about why Jesus is the son of God, but just know that there were prophets who would talk about Jesus in the Old Testament and they described how he was going to be born and how he was going to be in his first coming. 

And Jesus fulfilled all of the prophecies related to the Messiah. 

Now what is a prophecy? 

A prophecy is the future foretold by God. 

It’s not fortune telling, it was the future told by God in a holy way. 

Back in the day, God would literally speak to his prophets (Person who told the future by God.) God would literally speak to these prophets like how you would speak to a regular person with words and voice.

Sometimes God would speak in a dream, sometimes he would talk like how you would talk to your father or mother in real life.

But he would make it unmistakeable and clear that it was him who was talking. 

And God revealed to these prophets of all of the things that the Messiah was going to do, and the Messiah (Jesus), did it all. 

So now what was the Gospel that we need so bad? 

Now when Jesus was alive, he was honestly sent here to die for our sins. 

And so he was crucified even though he was innocent of any sins for he is God.

And the Gospel is that no matter what we have done in life, no matter how big of a sin we have committed,  we can go to heaven in the end if we accept Jesus into our lives. 

The good news is that we can go to heaven in the end of this life and we can live a peaceful and happy life if we just believe in Jesus and proclaim that he is God, he is King, and he is Lord. 

That’s the good news, it doesn’t matter what you’ve done in life, you too can go to heaven. You that’s right you, can go to heaven. 

Be happy, for right now is the time where you can go to heaven. 

But there is amazing news in heaven, that there will be rewards in heaven for us. 

There will be rewards for us in heaven.

And God is so perfect that his rewards are greater in heaven than on Earth. 

God is so perfect that he will uphold all of his promises.
