Time to take this songwriting thing seriously

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all that I got to take this songwriting thing seriously now.

Let’s talk about it

So what happened?

So what happened is that I have been paying attention to the news lately. 

And honestly some of the stuff is very concerning in a good way because it shows that God is doing things that he said he was going to promise. 

But what happens is that I remember when I first got my guitar, 

My first ever guitar, I remember I would pray to God day and night to make me a great musician. 

And I’ll be honest with you, I believe with all of my heart that God has done it.

It’s because of all of the things that I have accomplished with music. 

And I remember that when I prayed these things, I was praying to God to make me a great musician in exchange for the fact that I would write songs for him. 

And when I almost got put up on the radio, I remembered the promises that I made to God. 

When i played in front of a Thousand people, I remembered those promises. When the Old Guitar heads as me for advice on the guitar, I remember those promises. 

I remember those promises. 

And RIght now, I think I have around 150 songs that I made, some of them complete some of them not complete. 

But if I’m honest with you, it just keeps getting better. 

I feel my hooks become more hooky, I feel like my foundations are getting better. 

I literally feel it in my music. 

You know because when you write songs you’re supposed to feel it. 

I literally feel my music right now. 

God has given me music, and I wouldn’t be anywhere without him. 

I owe him my songs. 

For all that he has done in it. 

Fun fact, did you know that Taylor Swift took 100 songs before she was signed to Sony at 16 years old. 

Ed Sheeran did it with 150.

The first song that I ever wrote when I was 19 years old, was almost put up on the radio. 

And I remembered God in that day. 

And i said, It has been the Lord who responded to me. 

For I prayed to God to make me a great musician, and he made me a great musician. 

But now, it’s time that I write songs for God. 

It’s the time, It’s the greatest time to write songs for God because I feel like God is coming closer and closer and I have been setting up my treasures in heaven, but I want all of my treasures to be in heaven, and that includes my music. 

God is my reason. 

Remember God when you see me on the radio.
