Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all the things that you should do in order to build your online music fanbase.

Music Marketing 101

So the first thing that you should be aware of is the music side of it all. 

Because there is a saying in the music industry that says that if your music is hot, then people will listen to it. 

And it’s just so true. 

So the first thing that you should be aware of is having a great sounding songwriting style or albums or songs. 

I mean, how are you supposed to sell great music if your music is not so great? 

So I know that a lot of you young artists are out there and you’re dying to get your music out there and published and all that stuff.

However, really examine yourself and see if your music is up to par.

Like, take one of your favorite songs and compare your music to that song. 

If you can’t get excited to hear your own song like how you hear that song, then I’m sorry but you need to go back to the drawing board. 

I’ll give you guys a pro tip right here, Music is all about creating emotions and the way that you create emotions is by play long and slow notes mix that with fast verses and you have great emotions. 

But that’s my first tip, make great music.

Music Marketing 102 the actual marketing aspect of music

So once you have great music on your side, it’s time to promote your music. 

That means that you get your music out in front of as many people as possible. 

Obviously in a perfect world we would want to put it on T.V. Ads and Internet ads and have it in the best blogs possible and what not, however, since that is not available to the majority of us, it’s important that we work with what we got

Introducing the internet.

The internet is the part of the playing field that is leveled for us indie musicians. 

We can actually use the internet to connect with as much people as possible. 

However, there is a way that we can do that.

and don’t overthink this.

Don’t overthink the way that you can get your music in front of other people. 

It’s literally just by creating content and putting it on the internet. 

At least that’s the way for the blog and YouTube. 

Don’t overthink it, I repeat don’t overthink it, like 80% of all the work that you need to do is to make content and put it on the internet. 

The reason for that is because the algorithms in a few of the major social medias favor people who put up content consistently over long periods of time. 

That’s why, if you’re not making a song, and working, then you should definitely be making content for your audience. 

And trust me when I say that people will read and see your content and you will start to gain a following on the internet if you just keep at it. 

And that’s basically it

So my number one advice is to create great music and create great content and pray to God that God will bless you.
