Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all my origins in music.

Let’s get into it

It all started with God

The Lord Jesus was the one who started it all.

What happened was that I was in church and I was hearing the church band play and I absolutely loved the way that the guitars and the drums and the bass all sounded together.

And I said within myself, “This power needs to be used to worship the Lord.”

Because I felt that music was powerful.

I could feel it, I knew it was powerful enough to cause emotions and create thoughts.

But I said to myself this power needs to be used to worship and honor God.

And so I started praying to God to make me a musician.

And I would beg God to make me a musician of the highest caliber.

I was a kid at the time and I didn’t know just how much of the power of prayer I had in me.

And I begged God to make me a guitarist and a singer and a great musician.

And in time, he did that.

And oh was the life painful.

Oh was the life filled with ups and downs.

But I will say that it was worth it.

At age 11 is when my dad got me my first guitar

My dad got me my first guitar at age 11.

And my mom later said to me that the reason why she gave me that guitar was just so I could stop asking for a guitar.

And would you believe that I picked up that guitar, and I would not put it down.

I would refuse to put it down and I picked it up like I picked up a video game and I wouldn’t stop playing it.

And then, I was asked to join a whole bunch of music programs at my school.

I was asked to join the choir and then I found myself in Marching band.

And honestly, it was all a journey.

The moment I knew that God had completed his promise with me

What happens is that I was winning the award for The Most Outstanding Music Student Award from the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.

And the moment I knew that God made me the excellent musician was in an Auditorium full of people, they announced all of the things that I ever did in High School Regarding music, and when they said that I had passed Music Theory with a 100 for the year, Everyone in the crowd was yelling and saying no he didn’t and the crowd roared for me.

A Crowd full of people who I didn’t know were clapping for me.

And oh was that crowd large, I remember it was the biggest stage that I had ever been on

And I prayed to God to make me that musician.

And he was the one who made me that musician.

All glory to God.
