Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how music has brought me closer to God, regardless of the genre that I’m listening to.

Let’s get into it.

Regardless of the genre that I have listened to, it has brought me closer to God.

You know I was just listening to that one song by Enrique Iglesias called Somebody’s me.

And in that song I saw that God is real.

And there’s a reason for that.

It’s because that song is a ballad love song.

And he talks about how he hates to be alone and he wishes that his girl would come back to him.

And I know that this song isn’t talking about God, but it shows that the perfect design of God is for man to be with someone.

And even the singers and songwriters of the world acknowledge the fact that they need someone in their life in order to thrive.

And this among other famous songs, show that they long for love and a love that will last with them for the rest of their lifetime.

It’s sad that they don’t know that it’s God who they are after.

They are after God and they chase God without even knowing it.

And they write these songs hoping that the love that they have always had will come back, but they don’t know that they are chasing God.

And I see that.

I see that these people are just chasing God in their songs without knowing it.

And it’s like the entire Hollywood people are all chasing after God because they all write these love songs that just sound like they are just sad.

Even the horrorcore songs bring me closer to God

I have heard the dirty versions of some of Eminem’s songs.

And yes I will say that they are not Christian at all.

They are actually satanic in nature.

And when I heard those songs, I said to myself, “God is real.”

And the reason is because he would sing these horrible songs and then talk about depression and suicide.

And he would talk all of these dark topics.

And I said, “This man just needs God in his life.”

I said within myself, “This man just needs God in his life and he doesn’t need anyone else.”

And I heard about all of the stories that went down with Eminem, and I couldn’t help but to say a few prayers for Eminem because it was just truly sad.

It just makes sense to say that God is real even while listening to those songs.

Those songs are not good at all. They are blasphemous, they are horrendous in lyrics, they are just overall treacherous songs.

And I still saw that God was real in those songs and that God was with him and I said to myself, “The only one holding up that man is God.”

Now I don’t listen to those songs, but I remember that feeling of saying to myself, “God has to be real.”

God has to be real.

Why does this help us Christians

The pop music scene in Rap, Hip-hop, Pop, Rock, Country, Jazz, whatever pop music you want to include all really have some common elements.

It’s sin, and consequences.

They talk about all of the wrong things that they do and they glorify it.

And then they talk about the consequences with those songs.

And I see in those songs that they are literally just looking for something.

They are looking for a love, a person, a someone who will be there for them.

They are looking for God.

They are looking for forgiveness for their sins.

They are looking for a life different than theirs but with something else.

That someone, that something, that thing that they are looking for, is God.
