Hey everyone! So today, something bad happened. Something sad that made me sad, however, I will choose to follow Christ.
I will choose to honor the Lord.
Let’s talk about this
So I’m not going to say what happened, but I will say that God will take victory in my life.
So what happened is that I’m currently going through something with my family, and it’s betrayal to be honest with you.
However, I will choose to love and I will choose the ways of the Lord because the Lord is worthy of all praise.
He is worthy of everything that I have.
Just know that something bad is happening and God is the one who will take victory in my life.
Just know that God will take the glory and the honor and the life in my heart to a new level because of this experience.
He will be glorified and I must glorify him in all that I do.
I will glorify him in all that I do.
I will not give up on anything that he has given me for he is beautiful even in the darkest of times.
This reminds me of my favorite bible Character and his name is Job.
Why is Job my favorite bible character, let’s talk about it.
The Story of Job
What happened is that Job loved God and eschewed evil.
Job loved God and he hated evil.
However, one day, the devil wanted to tempt Job.
So the devil went to God and he said, “Job is only good to you because you have been good to him.” For Job was rich, and so the devil said to God, “Let me take away all that is his, and he will sin and curse you.”
and God said, “Fine do with him what you will, but let him live.”
and it was so, the devil went down and destroyed all that was Job’s.
He destroyed his houses, his land, his children were killed, his servants were killed, his cattle was killed and his enemies had stolen his Gold and Silver.
And Job, DID NOT sin against God.
and as a matter of fact, he went and he worshipped him.
Job went and Worshipped the Lord while all of the evil was happening.
And he said, “Perfect is the Lord God almighty and I am nothing but ash and from dust I came from and to dust I shall return.”
Now some time had passed and the devil went back to God and said, “Let me strike Job with diseases and he will curse you.”
and God said, “Fine but let him live.”
And it was so that the devil went and struck Job with boils on his skin so that they would bleed and puss would come out.
and all the while Job did not curse God.
And his wife came to him and said, “Curse God and die.” And he said, “Are we not much better than the heathen who only love God during the good and not the evil?”
And so then his friends tried to comfort him.
Three of his friends tried to comfort him by giving him words of encouragement like, “God has done this for a reason.” And there is no fault in God
and in reality, their words of encouragement made things worse because they just confused Job even more.
And finally, Job shook his fist at heaven and he said, “I demand that you answer me for I have done nothing wrong!”
And God came down to Job in a whirlwind and he said, “Fine Job, I will answer you, but first, tell me this, Why do the lions do the things they do? Why do the Zebras eat this way, and God starts asking Job questions about the universe and the stars and the skies and the oceans, and he asks job, “Were you there when I laid the foundations of the earth? Speak now if you know it all!”
And the Bible then says that God compared the earth to two different animals, one is like a Giant serpent in the sea and the other is like an armadillo.
And he said, “Now the world is like these two creatures, they’re beautiful and majestic, yet wild and dangerous.”
and God never answers Job why the things happened the way they did. But the moral of the story is that we are supposed to trust God in the good and in the evil and we cannot question why the evil happens because God is perfect and holy and his decisions are perfect and holy and so much so that we could never comprehend why they are this way.”
