Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share some bits of advice on how to sing and play the guitar at the same time.

Let’s get into it

Start off by learning the voice parts first and then the guitar parts

So one way to tackle this problem is to learn either the Voice first, and then the guitar, or the guitar first and then the voice.

You have to be able to play both of those really well when you first start out doing this.

What happens is that the human brain is capable of doing amazing things, you have to understand that.

However, doing two things at the same time is not good for certain instances and is alright for other instances.

Like, I would never recommend anyone to drive and eat at the same time, that is a bad idea.

But when your life is not at risk, why not try and do the impossible right?

Therefore, when you try and sing and play guitar at the same time, it’s important that you try and learn each individual parts first because it’s actually easier for our brains to comprehend putting the two together later on than it would be to just start out doing it.

Then put the two together and practice singing and play the guitar together.

So when you first start off doing this, it’s going to be difficult to jump over that hurdle of playing the guitar and singing at the same time.

I remember when I first started to play the guitar and sing at the same time that I sounded either horrible at singing or horrible on the guitar.

However, I was exceptional at both individually, but at the same time, I just couldn’t do it.

But it takes time and practice to being able to do it.

So just dedicate your hours into singing and playing the guitar at the same time and you will go far.

A practice that you could do in order to improve and make it easier on yourself

So, my guitar teacher once said, that if you practice talking and playing the guitar at the same time, then you can actually sing and play guitar at the same time.

So what happened is that this was a group guitar class.

And my friends and I would take turns talking to each other while playing the guitar and it was very interesting because some of my friends who could play the guitar and sing, could not talk and play the guitar at the same time.

And my guitar teacher would talk to them and say, you need to get better at doing that.

And it was so cool how my guitar teacher would make these things look.

Overall, just practice doing these things, and you can go far in your music.
