Music and God, How God has influenced my music

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how God has influenced my music. 

Let’s get into it. 

He changed my thought process about music

If I’m honest with you all, when I was a kid, I thought that music was this magic formula to gain money. 

I mean if you were good enough to make a hit song, then you were good enough to make millions of dollars with it right? 

And I mean, I saw so many of the famous artists out there in the world and they were getting big at such a young age. 

And I honestly thought to myself, “What if that was me?!?!?” 

Haha, too bad I didn’t know the reality. 

Anyways, here I am a lifetime later, and I realize that music is not a way to get rich and famous. 

Well it is, but to God, music is something a whole lot more than just to provide for your bills. 

Music is a way that you can worship the Lord. 

Music is a way that you can honor God through song.

and honestly, when I found that out back when I was around 6 years old, I made a commitment that I was going to use my music to share the gospel with the world. 

And I have done that. 

I have done exactly that. 

Reaching the world with the message of God is far more important than just making millions of dollars off of your music. 

So I have to confess that my music, though you guys might hear good things, I could not have done it without God. 

For I remember that I prayed to God for my music many times. 

I prayed to God to help me to create great music and honestly if it wasn’t for the Lord, I would have nothing. 

Remember that. 

He influenced me to create music with a purpose

I remember when I was a kid, I saw some music videos on T.V.

And I thought to myself, “Why do I feel so filled but then feel bad afterwards?”

and then I remember that I would listen to my Christian songs and I would feel filled and amazing afterwards.

and my mom explained to me that we as humans were meant to worship. 

We were meant to worship the Lord.

And I saw then that it was true, that our everything, our music, our whole being needs to worship and honor the Lord. 

For he is just worthy of praise. 

And for whatever reason the Lord has it this way, we just need to worship him.

Anyways, I thought I would give food for thought
