Hey everyone! So today, I thought I’d share a little bit into how you should speed your workflow as a music producer. This way, you can actually come out with more songs faster and more content faster.

Let’s get into it.

Practice is ideal in all situations

So whether your’e a doctor, or a teacher, or a musician, or whatever you decide to do in life, practice is actually the one factor that differentiates the good from the greats.

So say for example if you want to get better at making content for your music promotion.

Then practice is the only thing that will separate you from someone who has 1,000 followers to someone who has 10,000 followers.

Remember that consistent practice is what’s needed, so you have to be able to put in the hours every single day and promote every day and practice in some sort of manner your art or craft every single day.

I’m not saying that you can’t take breaks and go on vacation every once in a while.

But hard work and consistent effort is really what’s needed in order to come out on top.

Now, Don’t get it confused, do not and I repeat do not become a workaholic.

Yes it’s good to work hard, and put in the hours when it’s time to work, but you should also be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

And the fruits of your labor should make you smile.

How to specifically speed up your music production workflow?

In order to speed up your music production workflow, it’s important that you have an idea as to how you want your songs to generally sound.

Like say for example me, the song form that I usually stick with is verse chorus- verse- chorus- bridge-chorus

that’ doesn’t mean that there aren’t great song forms out there that don’t follow this form and as a matter of fact I do venture out of this form every once in a while.

But if I’m in the a music production phase and I’m looking to just pump out great songs, I usually just stick with the verse-chorus form.

And I go in to the music production phase knowing what I want.

So I’ll have a great sense as to what I want to do in different times and yeah.

How to speed up your content creation workflow

So in order to really speed up your content creation work flow, it’s actually a bit of a journey.

Because what happens is that in music it’s a different realm than content creation.

In content creation, you do use your creative side of your brain but what happens is that you need to learn how to act and how to present yourself to the camera.

You need to learn how to take photos and write blog posts.

And when you learn how to do these things, you have to learn how to do these things really well too.

So it’s not a matter of, “Oh I’ll just take a few hundred pictures and put it on Instagram and people will follow me.”

No, You have to edit those photos so they look more professional and what not.

So the best way for me to speed up the content creation workflow is first to submerse yourself into the process and then eventually get good at it.

Like, the way that I started this process was that I first started writing blog posts and promoting my music through written content.

And now years later, I’m posting photos and videos on the internet to promote my music.

And yeah it’s all fun and games but now it’s getting serious.

Sometimes you have to spend a few hours on Social media just doing social media things but it will all be worth it.
