How long should you wait for your musical promotional efforts to pay off?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to give you some insight as to how long you should wait before your musical promotional efforts should pay off. 

Let’s get into it. 

A long time, at least a few years. 

So, I’m not like those other gurus that tell you what you want to hear.

I tell you what you need to hear. 

In reality, it takes time to make a following on the internet. 

So according to Ghost.org, it takes between 2 and 4 years before a blog can take off. 

According to some statistics, The average YouTube channel that has more than a million subscribers has at LEAST 1,000 videos uploaded to their YouTube channel. 

And if you really take into the consideration as to how much work it takes to make 1,000 videos it’s actually a great deal of time. 

You have to create the scripts, produce, edit, and create any other photos and media for your videos. 

And all of that takes time. 

And if you put up 1 video a day and work at an INSANE rate, that should take you around 2 and a half years before you would’ve reached your 1,000 video mark. 

It’s a lot of work that you need to put in. 

There are some statistics about X, I think that the average account that has like more than 10,000 followers has around 100,000 tweets that they sent out. 

That’s a lot of tweets! 

So you can do it, but it’s going to take you time. 

And a lot of work. 

Of course the more work you put in, the more you’re going to get out of it. 

As for me, I’m currently trying to make my blog the biggest first and then worry about all the other socials later on. 

And right now, I have around 4 and a half years of working on this blog. 

And right now I’m starting to gain real traction in my blog posts. 

And yes it stink having to wait this long for an outcome, but hey no one said that writing in a blog was ever easy. 

Well I mean except for maybe those fake gurus that want to sell you on their courses. 

But yeah, just come to grips that you’re going to have to work hard at this music thing, and you’ll go far.
