Hey everyone! So today, I wanted to share with you all a little bit about music promotion.

let’s get into it.

Blogging as a means to promote your music

So it’s no secret that blogging actually creates fans and customers for your businesses. 

And to be quite honest with you I feel like it’s the way to do it. 

I mean in ancient times there were different ways to get your business out and about. 

Like maybe you would create a place in the town market and set up shop there. 

And what you would do is you would try and talk to people about the products that you had and try and sell them. 

And in a way it’s similar to what we’re doing today except we’re using a blog. 

What they did back in the day is that they communicated with people using words and actions. 

We as bloggers are communicating with people using words and actions aka videos and photos. 

Except of course modern times has come to fruition and we need to adapt with the technology that we have today, same principle different years. 

Like with a lot of other things in life. 

But this is not where I was going with this. 

What I was trying to get at is that we need to be blogging or creating content in some way or another. 

I personally like blogging because it’s easier for me to come up with content for blog posts than it is to come up with content for videos and photos. 

I don’t know why it’s just difficult to come up with ideas for visual approaches. 

I guess it’s because I haven’t really submersed myself into the art of photography. 

Of course I put up photos and to a lesser extent videos, but this is our advertising as musicians.

and what better way to gain customers and fans than to write about the things that you love. Right? 

How to come up with inspiration for new blog posts

So some people say that inspiration is first made through perspiration.

And I personally believe that those people are correct. 

What happens is that you need to spend some good quality time working hard at your blog posts first before you go off and try and make something out of pure inspiration. 

You might think that you need to first draw up inspiration from the start so that way you can get into the habit of drawing from inspiration but in reality, you should be writing and just writing about all of the topics you can think about under the sun in your career. 

All the while, praying to God about your projects and decisions.
