Hey guys! Today, I’m going to share with you all some of the battles that I’m currently facing as a Christian.

Let’s get into it.

So I went to church on Sunday night

So I went to church on Sunday night and honestly, I was convicted.

What happens is that we were talking about the faith of Samuel.

And honestly, I was astounded as to how little I knew about Samuel.

He was a prophet and his name actually means, “Heard by God.”

And what happened was that he first started showing signs of spiritual prosperity when he was doing lessons in the temple as a youth.

and there was a reason why he was blessed and it was because his family had made spiritual investments into him as a child and they grew him up in the temple.

And not only that but the Bible describes that he gained favor in both God and man.

And we were essentially talking about his faithfulness to God.

about how faithful Samuel was towards God.

And it lead me to be convicted of myself.

Because if I’m honest with you all, I face sometimes apathy towards my relationship with God.

If you don’t know what apathy is, apathy is where you just don’t care about a topic or person or a situation or anything.

And in my instance, I have apathy towards the Lord sometimes.

Not all the time, but sometimes I gain this big urge to praise, and pray, and read the Bible, and go to church, and other times it’s just like, I don’t care about them at all.

And what happened was that I was just thinking to myself while I was hearing this message in church and I couldn’t help but to think, “Samuel is so faithful and I’m just not.”

I am faithful in the sense that I do pray, but It’s not as often as I should be praying.

and I’m faithful in the sense that I read the Bible but I’m not faithful in the sense that I don’t read it as often as I should.

I should guard my heart against apathy because it has the power to hurt your relationship with God.

And in reality, I just started to ask myself, “How can I be more faithful to God?” and this blog was one of the things that I thought about.

I could be more faithful by talking about more spiritual topics instead of music blog topics.

But I also need to talk about music blog topics because it’s a part of my job.

And it’s not that God wants me to talk only about him because that’s not freedom, but I should talk about him more.

In conclusion, go to church because you learn what you need to do

In church, you learn what you need to do. You hear the still small voice that is the Lord’s.

And you know from the start that it is his voice because it is said in the scriptures.
