How to stop a sin?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to stop a sin. 

Let’s get into it. 

Stop it before it manifests

So what happens is that the bible actually talks about why certain sins develop into something more serious. 

And the bible also gives ways to prevent it and also overcome it. 

So the way that you stop a sin, is literally by preventing it. 

So some people have trouble listening to music that doesn’t glorify God. 

And worse that they listen to music that has cursing and blasphemy in it. 

And so the way that you stop it, is by just stopping it. 

And believe it or not it works. 

I wouldn’t recommend the same way for drugs and alcohol, like I think that there are some medications for those things. 

But if it’s something within your range, well then you have to just stop it. 

I actually used to listen to music that blasphemed God all the time. 

And what happened is that one day, I didn’t want to listen to it anymore because I was getting serious with my walk with God. 

And what happened is that I shut it off and I deleted it from my playlists. 

I remember those days that I was really happy and nothing in the world could hit me hard. 

And what happened was that I saw then that the bible is absolutely one hundred percent true. 

Because if the bible was right about such a sensitive topic, why wouldn’t it be right about everything else in my life? 

But I get it, you’re probably wondering to yourself, “But German, I already have manifested sin, what do I do to break these chains?”

Enter the Chainbreaker.

Jesus the chainbreaker

So what does it mean when Jesus is the chainbreaker? 

Nowadays, many people refer to Jesus as the chainbreaker when they are released from the bonds of drugs and alcohol. 

And it’s not that they are ever fully released, but they get to the point where Jesus is just providing strength for them to not fall into drugs and alcohol.

But Jesus is so much more than just releasing you from Drugs and alcohol. 

What about Chains where your haunts follows you around and you need peace because you’re tired of thinking about your past?

What about the chains of poverty? Where you are barely making ends meet, Jesus can help you with that. 

What about he chains about cheating with your wife, the Lord can liberate you from those chains. 

There are so many chains that Jesus can liberate you all. 

And guess what, most of the chains out there that need to be broken, cannot be broken with money, or power, or resources, they can only be broken by Jesus. 

Some people are bound by chains about being in wrong company. 

Some people are bound by the chains of not believing in Jesus.

So what you need to do is to pray to God to break your chains, and that’s it. 

Pray to God that he will break your chains, and he will break your chains. 

Sometimes it takes time. 

I remember when I was a kid, I had a chain that I was trying to break, and God didnt’ answer until 2 years later. 

And sometimes it just takes that long but all is within God’s perfect timing. 

He is perfect above all else.
