Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some elements of a Christian workout song.

Let’s get into it.

Every Christian song should be a Christian workout song

So what happens is that I am a traditional type of person.

Like I like to make songs that follow some biblical principles.

And what happens is that the general rule that’s in the bible for a Christian song is that the song should be happy.

The bible even speaks about how singing to a heavy heart can be detrimental to someone. And if I’m honest with you, I have experienced that detrimental feeling before, it really is heart breaking.

But when we make Christian songs, they should be happy because we are singing praises to the Lord, we are singing a song that is going to glorify God.

And so when people hear us singing, they should not be questioning what kind of mood the Lord gives us when we sing the songs.

When we sing a song, people should know the kind of feeling that the Lord gives us, which is joy.

The Lord gives us joy.

And those are basically the elements of a workout song

So a workout song needs to be happy and energetic.

I’m not saying that all songs that are energetic are happy, because I definitely have heard my fair share of songs that are fast and sad.

But the elements that make a perfect workout song, are actually a Christian song.

So let me explain what some of those technical music elements are.

Fast tempo

A fast tempo is usually used for happier songs

Major keys

A major key is usually used for happy songs

Major chords

Major Chords sound really happy and full of life

All of these elements make up a really happy and energetic song which make really great workout music.

Slower songs are not ideal for workout music because it doesn’t get your heart rate up and can mess with your head when doing something difficult.

Slower songs also almost always make for really great sad songs, so yeah there is that.
